Capitol Showcase

Visit the 2017 Capitol Showcase Consumer Art Exhibition!

Since 2005, ADMH has hosted a consumer art show at the Alabama's state Capitol. Consumers from around the state with mental illnesses, developmental disabilities, substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders are invited to have their abilities showcased throughout the month of May in the Capitol in observance of National Mental Health Month.

Exhibition Details

The artwork will be open to the public on May 4 to June 15, 2017 in the Old Supreme Court Library of the Alabama State Capitol. The Capitol is open Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. Q: When will I know if my artwork was accepted?
A: Acceptance Notification will be mailed or emailed March 24, 2017.*
*Acceptance Notification might be sent after this date for entry submissions that were recevied after the entry deadline.

Q: When do you need my artwork for the show?
A: If you received an acceptance letter please send in your artwork as soon as you can. The deadline is April 14, 2017.
