I have been depressed most of my life. I've had trauma a few times during childhood. As an adult I suffer from depression and I have severe mood swings that is now managed by medication. I go to therapy twice a month and try to attend group sessions weekly. I write booklets, blogs, and I paint, these things have been very therapeutic for me. After not being able to work anymore, I resulted to painting, it brought back memories of coloring and painting as a child. Art describes my feelings and helps me articulate how I feel in the moment.
