My name is J.B. I have been diagnosed with manic depression. Although I believe I am perfectly normal, I have been in and out of jails and institutions since I was 16. It seems like every time I see a glimmer of hope I get arrested again and end up in the system again and again. I don’t believe I need medication, but everyone I know insists that I do.
I have been an artist since I could pick up crayons. I am 42 now. I took high school art class but besides that, I just studied Bob Ross. I love art and music. I play the guitar and sing. I currently have three public murals in Huntsville on the color walk alleyway on the Downtown Public Storage building. The owner of D.P.S., David, was nice enough to give me three huge placards to paint. I love graffiti art but my submission is mixed media, pastel, and markers.
