8 – First Avenue Scene

Hi, my name is Ronald. I am a member of the 1920 Club in Birmingham, AL. I have studied art and music since I was in the fifth grade at Hill School in Birmingham, AL. I love painting places that I’ve traveled to and recreating scenes in my mind. This piece that I call “First Avenue Scene”, was a place that I walked to with my sister when I was young. Doing art and playing the cello, (I played as a young man for many years in the Birmingham Chamber Orchestra), has helped me in my recovery. I love attending the 1920 Club and appreciate the opportunity to express my talent.
