My Ride

I have Marfan’s Syndrome and paranoid schizophrenia. Marfan’s is why I’m taller than most people and why I metabolize food and medication quickly. I deal with a lot of symptoms from both conditions, but I’m grateful for the support I receive in residential housing. It helps me stay stable. 

Drawing is something I really enjoy—it helps quiet the symptoms, especially when I hear things. When I draw, it calms me down and brings me joy. It’s something that makes me smile.
