I am an adult student at Vivian B. Adams School (VBAS). I enjoy learning new things and exploring a wide range of skills. My time at VBAS has given me the opportunity to build important independent living skills while also discovering and growing my creative abilities.
I have a strong interest in both art and music. I enjoy trying new ways to create, as well as singing and performing for my classmates and at my church. Being involved in different activities helps me continue to learn and express myself in new ways.
I am excited to be part of the HeArt (Helping Encourage Artistic Expression to Reinforce and Transform) Program at VBAS. Our instructor, Mr. Bill Meyer, encourages us to experiment, which I really enjoy. I especially like working with color because it gives me another way to share my ideas and creativity.
