I was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder, bipolar type about 24 years ago. I lost my wife to bipolar disorder several years ago, and I think about her every day. I have been in a state hospital, but I am now in a semi-independent home in the community.
I like sketching, painting, and photography. I have training in art appreciation and drafting. I worked as an architect many years ago before I became disabled. I have taught myself to sketch. I have had a lot of health problems recently and my drawing has helped me get through the tough times, especially when I'm in the hospital all alone. I would love to be a cartoonist.
