What’s it like to have borderline personality disorder? It’s like riding an emotional rollercoaster—one moment I’m on a high, and the next everything spirals out of control. Managing BPD is a daily struggle, especially when it comes to controlling emotions and staying grounded in reality. One of the hardest things is feeling isolated in your thoughts. I’ve dealt with that for most of my life. I realized I needed help after a moment when I unintentionally hurt a friend. Since then, I’ve worked hard every day, using what I’ve learned to cope and grow.
My dad was my first art inspiration. Growing up, he was all I had to look up to, and that’s where my love for creating began. As I got older, I wanted to make art that had meaning—art that invites people to find their own interpretations and feelings. I love when viewers discover hidden details and try to decode the story behind a piece. Through my work, I want people to feel what it’s like to live in my mind.
