Flower Forks

I have intellectual disabilities, and I am non-verbal, but I express myself through art. As an adult learner at Vivian B. Adams School, I’ve gained more independence in everyday life. I get to interact with my peers, attend dances, go on community field trips, and participate in art projects.

My art is created with hand-over-hand help from the aides in my department. I choose the colors myself, and I love using bold, bright colors. My piece Flower Forks is full of color and energy—just like the way I experience the world.
