I have encountered many obstacles in life, including my mental illness diagnosis. I have been in the mental health system since 1982. I am a self-taught artist. I really enjoy art, and it helps to take my mind off of my troubles. I really enjoy doodling and sketching different things. I love to draw nature because I love to be in nature.
