51 – Owl

My name is Alicia and I am 33 years old. With supports provided by the Arc of Walker County, I live with a roommate and enjoy an independent life. I am a proud member of Take Off Pounds Sensibly (TOPS). We work toward losing weight and becoming healthier people. I am also employed at Full Moon BBQ and my favorite day is pay day.

My roommate influenced me to begin painting. I saw how much she enjoyed her art classes and the artwork she brought home was so pretty. Once I began attending art class, I knew it was something I wanted to continue. I love to socialize with the teacher and other class members. Painting calms my mind and makes me happy. I eagerly look forward to each new project.
