I am an adult learner in the Raygene Burkett Class at Vivian B. Adams School (VBAS). I enjoy every day at VBAS, learning life skills while socializing with my friends.
Art is something I truly enjoy because it gives me a way to express myself. I especially like working with color and creating pieces that reflect how I feel. I carry a sketchbook and work on creating art projects both at VBAS and while I am at home.
Through the HeArt (Helping Encourage Artistic Expression to Reinforce and Transform) Program, I can explore a variety of materials and techniques. With the encouragement of our instructor, Mr. Bill Meyer, I feel confident trying new things and continuing to grow in my creativity.
