I am an adult student at Vivian B. Adams School (VBAS) who enjoys learning new things and exploring a variety of skills. My experience at VBAS has helped me build important independent living skills while also giving me the chance to grow creatively.
I have a strong interest in both art and music. I enjoy experimenting with different ways to create, and I like singing and performing for my classmates. Being involved in a range of activities allows me to keep learning and expressing myself in meaningful ways.
I enjoy being part of the HeArt (Helping Encourage Artistic Expression to Reinforce and Transform) Program at VBAS. Our instructor, Mr. Bill Meyer, encourages us to try new things and be creative, which I really enjoy. I especially like working with color because it gives me another way to share my ideas and creativity.
