Awake, O Sleeper

I am a person in long-term recovery from substance use disorder, drug-induced psychosis, depression, anxiety, and borderline personality disorder. I was detached from reality for many years. This work of art was my coping mechanism.

The grace and mercy of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ led me to become justice-involved, which provided me with a level of accountability and consequences that I had never experienced. I have been trudging the road to a happy destiny since. Recovery is not an easy process, but the value is immeasurable.
