I was born three months prematurely and raised in Mobile. I have always had to work much harder to overcome my multiple disabilities, which caused my mental illness. I have always enjoyed creating new artwork, first as a hobby, then later for therapeutic release in dealing with my issues in my life.
I attended Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, LA. I studied under three Artists: Professors Gail Hood, Robert Labranche, and Sarah Wiseman. I took Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, and Mixed Media Collage courses to improve my artistic techniques and skills in expressing my emotions in an abstractive, expressionistic style. I currently love working in oil, acrylic, and watercolor paints/mediums and collages, experimenting with warm and cool colors in painting and drawing animals, people, and landscapes. Recently I worked at SOMI Club as a volunteer in teaching several different art classes to the members.
