The Alabama Department of Mental Health (ADMH) is hiring dedicated licensed practical nurses and registered nurses to work in the three state psychiatric facilities in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Licensed Practical Nurse I: Minimum starting salary of $47,751.20. Includes minimum base pay of $43,591.20 with an additional $2.00 per hour MH Direct Care Premium Pay. Minimum salary will be commensurate with experience. Limitations apply to current state employees.

MINIMUM PAY AT APPOINTMENT:

$22.96/$24.96 depending on shift worked*

MINIMUM PAY AFTER SIX (6) MONTHS:

$23.47/$25.47 depending on shift worked*

MINIMUM PAY AFTER EIGHTEEN (18) MONTHS:

$24.00/$26.00 depending on shift worked*

Registered Nurse I: Minimum starting salary of $61,131.20. Includes minimum base pay of $56,971.20 with an additional $2.00 per hour MH Direct Care Premium Pay. Minimum salary will be commensurate with experience. Limitations apply to current state employees.

MINIMUM PAY AT APPOINTMENT:

$29.39/$31.39 depending on shift worked*

MINIMUM PAY AFTER SIX (6) MONTHS:

$30.08/$32.08 depending on shift worked*

MINIMUM PAY AFTER EIGHTEEN (18) MONTHS:

$32.24/$34.24 depending on shift worked*

MINIMUM PAY AFTER TWENTY-FOUR (24) MONTHS:

$32.98/$34.98 depending on shift worked*

As an approved provider of continuing education with the Alabama Board of Nursing, ADMH provides continuous opportunities for maintaining professional licenses.
