By the Shore

I have been a member of the SOMI Club for eight years. I work hard at helping keep the SOMI Club clean at the end of each day. The members have said they appreciate my gentleness and kindness. My experience with mental illness has been okay. 

I get fulfillment from cleaning up and from creating art. I love to sketch and paint because I get joy from it. I started drawing and painting when I was in school, and I learned on my own through practice. My drawing is titled, “By the Shore”. I drew it because I like to be by the water.
