The Alabama Department of Mental Health (ADMH) is now hiring dedicated LPNs and registered nurses, to work in the three state psychiatric facilities in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

LPN I: Minimum starting salary of $48,622.40.  Includes minimum base pay of $44,462.40 with an additional $2.00 per hour MH Direct Care Premium Pay.  Minimum salary will be commensurate with experience.  Limitations apply to current state employees.

Registered Nurse I: Minimum starting salary of $62,271.20.  Includes minimum base pay of $58,111.20 with an additional $2.00 per hour MH Direct Care Premium Pay.  Minimum salary will be commensurate with experience.  Limitations apply to current state employees.

Registered Nurse I, Senior: Minimum starting salary of $68,312.  Includes minimum base pay of $64,152.00 with an additional $2.00 per hour MH Direct Care Premium Pay.  Minimum salary will be commensurate with experience.  Limitations apply to current state employees.

Nurses who work evening or night shifts will be eligible for an additional $2.00 per hour for Alternate Shift Pay.

As an approved provider of continuing education with the Alabama Board of Nursing, ADMH provides continuous opportunities for maintaining professional licenses.
