I have faced some big challenges in my life with ADHD and PTSD. It hasn't always been easy to stay calm, especially when things felt like too much to handle. I even spent some time being incarcerated, which was a very difficult part of my journey. I had to learn how to take my time and really think about a situation before reacting. This helps me so I don’t get so stressed out by traumatic things that happened in my past. By working on this, I have gotten better and learned how to think positive, which has helped me find my independence.
I first became an artist when I started drawing in school during my art classes. I didn't go to a special college for it, but those classes helped me get started. I really enjoy the art I create because it gives me a great sense of relief. When I am drawing or making something, all the stress goes away and I feel much better. It is a way for me to stay focused and happy, no matter what I have been through.
